After almost 2 years of postulating, I am finally leaving for South East Asia. Today.
I've decided to attempt to write a little blog about my travels, just to keep those I love in the know, and just in case any of my friends get bored and want to see what I'm up to. It might also be a handy way of cataloguing my journey and posting some photos without inundating social media.

Despite going to the other side of the planet, I've realised that this world is actually very small.
I will know someone in every major city I'm heading to.
I'm going to see my aunt Phi-Loan and my cousin Nicholas in Macau, Eddie and Margaret will be looking after me in Hong Kong and I'm hopefully going to bother Kelly for a while in Hanoi. Then I'm on my own until I get to Saigon, unless Liam joins me as I travel from North Vietnam to the South.
My aunt Kim and my aunts and uncles from Paris may also be in Saigon when I get there.
Then Lals turns up and we finish off the Mekong Delta together. Have some jollies in Phu Quoc, check out Cambodia and then Lals has One Night In Bangkok before heading home and I get a couple of days with Lucy, who by then won't be the Newest Expat in town.
4 countries. 7 weeks.
